Cannabis Yield & Harvest Estimator

Estimate your potential dry harvest weight based on physical space constraints, light output, grow medium efficiency, and training techniques.

Setup parameters
Actual Light Draw (True Watts)300W

Make sure to use true power draw wattage, not the "equivalent" rating listed by budget brands.

Optimization checklist
  • Soil holds onto moisture and fertilizers. Alternate feeding nutrients with plain water cycles, and let the pot dry back between waterings.
  • LED lights run cooler but have intense localized light. Watch for bleached leaf tips (light burn) even if room temperatures feel moderate.

How is this yield calculated?

In home cultivation, yield-per-watt is the standard efficiency rating. A beginner LED setup typically hits 0.6 grams per watt, while experienced growers using crop steering, custom VPD targets, and SCROG nets can achieve 1.4+ grams per watt.

However, space is a major limiting factor. A 2×2 ft tent cannot hold more than 200g of dry canopy bud regardless of how many watts you hang, as the overlapping leaves shade each other and block airflow, stalling photosynthesis. To hit maximum yield projections, training techniques like topping and low-stress training (LST) are essential to spread the canopy flat.
